BJP nominates Lankala Deepak Reddy for Jubilee Hills by-election

The BJP has named Lankala Deepak Reddy as its candidate for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election in Telangana. The central leadership approved his nomination, with the B Form to be issued by the State president on Wednesday.

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially declared Lankala Deepak Reddy as its candidate for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election in Telangana.

The BJP’s central leadership has endorsed Deepak Reddy’s name and the B Form will be issued by the party State president on Wednesday.

In the 2023 Assembly polls, Reddy contested from the same constituency, polling 25,866 votes (14.11% share) and clinching the third place. The party’s state unit shortlisted three contenders—Deepak Reddy, Dr. Keerti Reddy, and V. Padma and forwarded the list to the central high command five days ago.

Deepak Reddy emerged as the final choice of the party.
