Hyderabad: Government whip Balka Suman said the conspiracy politics and strategies adopted by BJP in North India would not cut ice with Telangana people.

He made light of the BJP legislators deeksha held at Indira Park here on Thursday for being suspended from the Assembly during budget session. It was a deliberate ploy of the BJP legislators to get suspended from the House to derive political mileage, he said.

When Bandaru Dattatreya was Governor of Himachal Pradesh, six Congress legislators were suspended from the Assembly, he reminded while addressing media persons here at TRS Bhavan.

BJP leaders should stage protests in New Delhi, demanding fulfillment of assurances made in the bifurcation bill, he said, adding “If the BJP leaders here are committed for Telangana’s cause they should get national status for Kaleshwaram project,”

In the past, the Telangana Congress leaders danced to the tunes of Andhra Pradesh Congress leaders. Now, the BJP State leaders were turning puppets in the hands of two Gujarati leaders, Balka Suman charged.

Countering the BJP legislators remarks on State budget, the Government Whip demanded them to get notifications for two crore central government jobs as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao always takes decisions in the better interests of Telangana people and not with an eye on elections, he said.

“Rather discussing on Telangana’s policies, the State BJP leaders are making silly arguments. Next Assembly elections will prove BJP’s strength in the State,” said Balka Suman.
