Suryapet: Former TPCC president and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday alleged that BJP and TRS were together and enacting a political drama to misguide the people of the State.
Speaking at a media conference at Kodad in the district, Uttam Kumar Reddy said the TRS had supported demonetization and GST bills of the Narendra Modi government in Parliament. It also supported the BJP government in the election of President and Vice President, he said, adding that people should keep in mind that TRS and RSS were against the Constitution. “Democracy has been enriched in the country for the last 75 years due to the Constitution,” he added.
Reacting sharply to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s statement, he said the Chief Minister should keep in mind that Statehood for Telangana was possible only because of Article (3) of the Constitution. He exuded confidence that Congress would come to power in the State in the next elections.
