BJP, TRS workers clash in Sircilla over social media post
WhatsApp chatting between BJP worker Bonala Sai Kumar of Padira and TRS activist Chandanam Shivaramakrishna of Yellareddypet led to the controversy.

Rajanna-Sircilla: Mild tension prevailed at Yellareddypet police station when the activists of Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Bharatiya Janata Party clashed on Friday night.
WhatsApp chatting between BJP worker Bonala Sai Kumar of Padira and TRS activist Chandanam Shivaramakrishna of Yellareddypet led to the controversy.
Enraged over Sai Kumar’s objectionable comments, Shiva kumar along with other workers went to the house of the former on Friday night and entered argument with Sai Kumar’s parents Manemma and Ravi and abused them as he was not available in the home.
Angered over TRS activists’ behavior, Manemma along with BJP workers went to Yellareddypet police station to lodge a complaint. Knowing about the incident, TRS activists also rushed to the police station and entered into an argument with BJP activists.
Both the groups clashed when the argument turned serious. Police pacified the clashing mob and brought the situation under control. BJP worker Repaka Ramachandram received injuries in the attack.
Enraged over TRS activists’ attack, BJP workers staged a dharna in front of the police station on Sircilla-Kamareddy main road demanding the arrest of ruling party workers.
Later BJP workers tried to move towards TRS district president Thota Agaiah’s residence and tore the flexies of TRS party. Anticipating the trouble, police lathi-charged the BJP workers.
On the other hand, BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar along with Cultural Council chairman Rasamai Balkish and MLA Sunke Ravishankar is going to visit Yellareddypet on Saturday to console TRS district president Thota Agaiah, whose house was attacked by BJP workers.
