Hyderabad: Leaders of the BJP, Bajrang Dal, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) submitted a representation to Vikram Singh Mann, Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), urging quick action over an issue involving the Peddamma Thalli temple in Banjara Hills on Thursday.
Former MLA Chinthala Ramchandra Reddy, Bajrang Dal State Convenor Shivaramulu, State Co-convenor Mukesh Yadav, and other leaders expressed concern over the alleged high-handed behaviour of local police officials. In response, Vikram Singh Mann assured them that a detailed inquiry would be taken up and suitable action would follow based on the findings.
Tension broke out earlier this week after locals and political party members protested the alleged demolition of the temple at MLA Colony in Banjara Hills.
