Hyderabad: BJP State president on Sunday vowed to capture Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency and said the party would implement ‘Ghar Wapsi’ programme in the Old City.

Addressing at the party programme at Champapet here, the BJP State president said BJP has the capacity to win four assembly segments in Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency. “Is it difficult to capture the Hyderabad MP seat?” he asked the party workers.

In the past, the Old City was like Mini India as Kannadigas, Marathis and Gujaratis had made it their home, he reminded. Subsequently, they all relocated to the other side of River Musi in the city, he said.

“After BJP comes to power, all the people, who had relocated from the Old City fearing attacks by AIMIM goons, will be brought back ensuring that they get back all their assets. We will start the “Ghar Wapsi” programme from the Old City,” Bandi Sanjay said.

Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy said Telangana people were yearning for a change in the State and were keen to elect BJP to power. Under the TRS rule, all sections of the society were deceived and were used as vote bank, he charged.

“Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s grand plans to play a crucial role in the national politics will remain unfulfilled dreams. People will not encourage dynasty politics,” Kishan Reddy said.
