Nalgonda: Minister for Tourism V Srinivas Goud on Sunday accused the BJP leaders in the State with trying to gain political mileage with cheap tricks.
Addressing the media at Kondamallepally on his way to Nagarjuna Sagar, Srinivas Goud said the comments made by BJP leaders against children and women indicated their cheap politics. He ticked off BJP leader Teenamar Mallanna for dragging the children of the Chief Minister’s family into politics. “The BJP conspiracy to create communal issues in Telangana will not work,” he said.
Warning the BJP leaders to desist from indulging in personal attacks, the Minister said TRS leaders can also do the same, but their moral values prevented them from indulging in such unethical acts. “The BJP leaders should pursue their government at the Centre to accord national project status to any of the irrigation project in the State if they are sincere about the development of Telangana. The Centre is also deliberately discriminating against the State when it should actually be helping a new State,” he said.
Stating that people of Raichur in BJP-ruled Karnataka were seeking merger of their area with Telangana State after seeing the welfare schemes and development programmes here, he said the BJP leaders should introspect about the development witnessed in BJP-ruled states before making comments against TRS government.
He said the BJP leaders should reveal the number of job provided to the youth by Narendra Modi in the country in the last seven years. Reminding that people of Mahaboobanagar(Palamuru) earlier migrated to far distance area for the search of livelihood, he said that the situation was completely changed now due to the measures taken up by the State government. People from other areas were now migrating to Mahaboobnagar district in search of livelihood, he added.
He said that the Government of India should feel proud for Hyderabad was attracting the Multi-National Companies and IT companies.
