BJYM stages protest in front of Uppal police station
The police had detained BJYM activists on Wednesday when they tried to block the convoy of IT Minister KT Rama Rao. All the BJYM activists were shifted to Uppal police station.
Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed near the Uppal police station on Wednesday night when the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha staged a sit-in demanding release of its activists.
The police had detained BJYM activists on Wednesday when they tried to block the convoy of IT Minister KT Rama Rao. All the BJYM activists were shifted to Uppal police station.
In the evening, scores of BJYM activists reached the police station and staged a dharna. The police had to use mild force to disperse them when they tried to barge into the police station.
A few of the activists were detained by the police.
