IPL 2025: Players to wear black bands, observe silence for Pahalgam terror attack victims

The teams will observe two minutes silence before the match starts and that there will be no cheer girls as a mark of respect to the departed souls

HYDERABAD: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a statement that all cricketers featuring in the IPL match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians in Hyderabad tonight will wear black bands to mourn the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam (Jammu & Kashmir) on Tuesday.

The teams will also observe two minutes silence before the match starts and that there will be no cheer girls as a mark of respect to the departed souls.
