Hyderabad: The Korvi Krishna Swamy Mudiraj Seva Samithi, a city-based organisation, conducted a blood donation camp at the Korvi Kishna Swamy Mudiraj Community Hall in Rasoolpura on Sunday.
Organised in an attempt to help overcome the shortage of blood in blood banks due to the ongoing pandemic, the programme was attended by Labour Minister Malla Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP, Banda Prakash Mudiraj, TRS Malkajgiri Parliamentary constituency incharge Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, Cantonment ex-VC, J Maheshwar Reddy, Korvi Krishna Mudiraj Seva Samithi President, Pitla Nagesh Mudiraj among other members.
Krishna Swamy Mudiraj, who was the first Mayor of Hyderabad, was a social worker, author and journalist. The first Master Plan for the city was prepared under his Mayorship and the Samithi is an organisation run in his memory.
Malla Reddy and Rajasekhar Reddy appreciated the organisation’s efforts to help the society through this blood drive.
