Blood donation camp marks Police Martyrs Commemoration in Hyderabad
As part of Police Martyrs Commemoration Week, Cyberabad police and SCSC organised a large-scale blood donation camp in Hyderabad. Supported by HDFC Bank, Medicover Hospitals, and the Indian Red Cross Society, the event saw participation from senior police officials including Commissioner Avinash Mohanty.

Hyderabad: As part of Police Martyrs Commemoration Week, the Cyberabad police in association with the SCSC (Society for Cyberabad Security Council), organised a mega blood donation camp on Wednesday.
The event, held under the theme “Donate Blood, Save Lives,” was conducted in collaboration with HDFC Bank, Medicover Hospitals, and the Indian Red Cross Society.
Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty inaugurated the blood donation camp and also donated blood. Medchal DCP N. Koti Reddy, and others participated in the programme and donated blood.
Interacting with media persons, Mohanty emphasised the importance of blood donation, especially for patients suffering from conditions such as thalassaemia, blood cancer, haemophilia, and accident victims. He expressed his gratitude to all participants for supporting this noble cause.
A total of 653 units of blood were collected, and certificates of appreciation were presented to all donors.
