Blood donation camp organised in Hyderabad to help Thalassemia patients

The camp was jointly organised by Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society in collaboration with R R Charitable Trust at the Trust building premises in Edi Bazaar

Hyderabad: A mega blood donation camp for Thalassemia patients was organised at Edi Bazaar in the old city on Sunday. A total of 200 units of blood were collected during the camp.

The camp was jointly organised by Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society in collaboration with R R Charitable Trust at the Trust building premises in Edi Bazaar.

The donated blood collected during the camp will be used for children who are suffering from Thalassemia, the organiser, Syed Irfan, said.

The trust is also actively involved in running free food camps at various places in the city and providing monthly groceries to the poor people.
