BM John Vinaysagar basketball tournament from April 20

Hyderabad: YMCA Secunderabad Alumni will be conducting B M John Vinaysagar knock-out basketball tournament for men at YMCA Secunderabad from April 20 to 24.

The event is open to all affiliated clubs/departments/academies of the Hyderabad District Basketball Association.

It is also informed that the HDBA will conduct the Annual League Championship for men and women for the GM Sampath Kumar Trophy 2026.

The registration of players and affiliation for participation in the championship, which has been conducted for over six decades, is open to all clubs/departments/municipal playgrounds/academies within the conglomerate limits of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The HDBA will also be introducing the League Championship from June 2026 for Youth boys and girls born on or after 1.1.2010 and sub-junior boys and girls born on or after 1.1.2013 to select the Hyderabad District teams for the Inter-district championship.
