Hyderabad: The bodies of seven persons who were killed in a road accident on Tuesday at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh while returning from Maha Kumbh Mela, reached the city on Wednesday afternoon.

The bodies were shifted in ambulances from Jabalpur after a postmortem examination and necessary formalities were conducted in Madhya Pradesh.

The victims, who are from Nacharam, Saroornagar and LB Nagar had left the city on Saturday to visit the Maha Kumbh mela. They were returning to the city after taking a holy dip in the River Ganga, when their minibus was rammed into by a truck.
