Body of man swept away in Afzalsagar nala found at Nagole

The body of Rama, who was swept away in Hyderabad’s Afzalsagar nala on September 14 while trying to save his relative Arjun, was found at Nagole on Friday. Arjun’s body had been recovered earlier in Yadadri district.

HYDERABAD: The body of a man who was swept away in Afzalsagar nala on September 14 was found at Nagole on Friday night.

The family members identified the body as that of Rama, with they help of a tattoo on his hand. The body was shifted to OGH mortuary for postmortem.


Rama and Arjun, were swept away in the Afzalsagar nala during rains on September 14 night. Both were relatives.

Rama was trying to rescue Arjun who slipped into the water but due to heavy water current got washed away.

The DRF and SDRF teams had launched operation to trace the bodies. The body of Arjun, was found a week ago at Yadadri district.
