Hyderabad: The security personnel at the RGI Airport went into a tizzy after some unknown persons sent an email informing them about a bomb planted in the airport area.
The information was received at the airport at 6.06 am, and the message swiftly communicated to the security agencies who immediately started anti-sabotage checks in and around the airport. Teams from the CISF and local police after conducting a search declared it to be a hoax.
“As per protocols, a bomb threat assessment committee was formed and all procedures were followed as per SOP. The threat was a hoax,” said airport authorities.

The airport authorities added that all operations are running normally.
