Bomb Threat Triggers Panic at City Civil Court

A bomb threat email sent to the Chief Judge of the City Civil Courts in Hyderabad triggered panic on Monday. Police evacuated judges, lawyers, and staff, while bomb disposal teams conducted a thorough search

Hyderabad: Panic prevailed at the City Civil Courts Complex and its surroundings when a bomb threat mail was received by the authorities on Monday.

As per available information, a mail was received to the official ID of the Chief Judge informing that explosives were planted in the premises.


Following information from the court authorities, the local police and bomb squad reached the complex and took up checking for the presence of any explosive substances.
All the judges, advocates and staff vacated the premises. The check is going on.
