Bommarillu clocks 15 years, the movie’s cast plans a reunion 

The actors in the movie took to their respective Twitter handle and reminisced the shooting days, cherishing the happy moments they spent together on the sets. 

While there are a handful of movies releasing every week, only a few movies make it to the top (read ‘superhit’) list. And they not only take a place in the hearts of the fans and moviegoers, but also remain special to the cast and crew of the film. One such movie is ‘Bommarillu’, which clocked 15 years. The actors in the movie took to their respective Twitter handle and reminisced the shooting days, cherishing the happy moments they spent together on the sets.

‘Bommarillu’, a blockbuster hit in 2006, was helmed by Bhaskar, who got the sobriquet ‘Bommarillu Bhaskar’ after the movie released. The move brought good recognition for the director and actors too.

It starred well-known actors like Siddharth and Genelia in lead roles, besides Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Tanikella Bharani in key roles. The emotional drama primarily revolves around the relationship between a father and son that touched many hearts. Now, as the film completes 15 years, the trio is planning to catch up.

Actor Prakash Raj took to his Twitter account to share a video and wrote, “It’s been 15 years since #Bommarillu and memories are still very fresh. It will be wonderful re live it again .. (sic)”

Siddharth replied to the tweet saying, “Motham meere chesaru @prakashraaj. I hope someday we can share with interested minds all the wonderful things that went into Bhaskar’s dream #Bommarillu(sic),” while lead actor Genelia also commented, “Let’s do that soon..#Bommarillu will always be a celebration.”
