Bondada Engineering wins Rs 1,338 crore NTPC REL Solar + BESS project
Bondada Engineering Limited has secured a Rs 1,338 crore EPC contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for a 250 MW solar project with a 50 MW/200 MWh battery storage system in Uttar Pradesh. The project supports India’s renewable energy and grid stability goals.
Hyderabad: Bondada Engineering Limited has secured a prestigious Notification of Award (NOA) from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) package of a 250 MW Solar PV Project co-located with a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.
Valued at approximately Rs 1,338 crore (inclusive of GST), the award marks a significant milestone in Bondada Engineering’s growth journey and further reinforces its position as a trusted partner in Bharat’s accelerating energy transition.
The project forms part of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited’s ongoing efforts to expand utility-scale renewable energy generation while integrating advanced energy storage solutions that enhance grid stability and reliability.
