Hyderabad: A book ‘I am Unstoppable’, authored by cancer surgeon from Yashoda Hospitals, Dr Sachin Marda, containing inspiring stories of individuals who have conquered cancer and the latest medical technology was launched on Sunday.
The book ‘I am Unstoppable’ will serve as an ultimate survival guide, with its small doses of wisdom, guidance, and unlimited inspiration from persons who have managed to defeat the ailment, Dr Sachin Marda, during the book launch said.
“The book is definitely a boon for cancer patients. It is excellent to read as well as for reference purposes. You are much more than your disease and if you have the right mindset, you can emerge stronger than you ever thought possible,” said Mahesh Bhagawat, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda.
Dr G S Rao, Managing Director, Yashoda Group of Hospitals said that the book seeks to help defeat the stigma surrounding the name ‘cancer’, and gives hope to patients”. IT Secretary, Jayesh Ranjan, Director, Yashoda Hospitals Group, Dr Pavan Gorukanti, book co-author Rachna Mankani, senior oncologists, doctors, paramedical staff, lions club members, Mahesh foundation members and many prominent personalities were present in the book launch.
