Boy drowns in agricultural well in Karimnagar

According to locals, Azman had gone to the well with his friends for fishing when he accidentally slipped and fell into the water.

Karimnagar: A boy, Azman drowned in an agricultural well in Rekurthi in the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Saturday.

According to local people, Azman along with his friends went to a well for fishing and accidentally slipped into water.

Panicked over sudden development, other boys ran away from the spot and alerted local residents. However, the boy had already drowned when the local people rushed to the well.

Knowing about the incident, police and fire department staff rushed to the spot and retrieved the body with the help of local people.
