Hyderabad: A seven-year-old boy died after falling from the second floor of a building at Sanathnagar on Sunday afternoon. The child, Yashraj, lived along with his parents at Jilkalwada area under Sanathnagar police station limits. The family hails from Bihar.
On Sunday afternoon, Yashraj’s mother was drying clothes on the second floor of the building. “The child who came along with his mother was playing around. He climbed the railing of the building and after losing balance, he fell down resulting in injuries and subsequent death,” said T Paidi Naidu, sub inspector, Sanathnagar police station.
On information, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to Osmania Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination. A case is registered by the Sanathnagar police and investigation is on.
