‘Boycott Kareena Kapoor Khan’ trending after she allegedly demanded 12 cr for Sita’s role
Some news reports emerged that Kareena Kapoor was approached by the makers of mythological period saga Sita and the actor has demanded a whopping 12 crores for doing Sita’s role
Hyderabad: Netizens trolling actors or call for boycotting them is not a new thing in Bollywood. This time, actor Kareena Kapoor is facing backlash from Twitterati.
Few days ago, some news reports emerged that Kareena Kapoor was approached by the makers of the upcoming mythological period saga Sita. And the actor has demanded a whopping 12 crores for doing Sita’s role.
Following the reports, social media were flooded with trolls against Kareena for demanding huge amounts for casting the Hindu mythological character. Now, the trolls turned to call for boycotts and it took an ugly communal colour too.
Some protesters even demanded to boycott the director of ‘Sita’ for offering the role to Kareena. Some of them wrote, the actor’s husband Saif Ali Khan had hurt religious sentiments by acting in amazon series ‘Tandav’ and now Kareena is doing the same.
