Brace for the chill: Minimum temperatures in parts of Telangana to drop below 4°C

The India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad on Friday in its five-day weather forecast said the minimum temperatures at isolated areas in Telangana would drop and hover between 2 degree Celsius and 4 degree Celsius.

Hyderabad: Indicating a drop in night time temperatures in the coming days, the India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad on Friday in its five-day weather forecast said the minimum temperatures at isolated areas in Telangana would drop and hover between 2 degree Celsius and 4 degree Celsius.

While weather will remain dry over the state, Hyderabad and a few other parts of Telangana will experience mist/ hazy conditions during morning hours. The minimum temperatures in Hyderabad will remain around 15 degree Celsius but districts like Adilabad, Hanumakonda, Jagtial, Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Nizamabad, and Rajanna Sircilla will experience cold conditions with temperatures between 11 and 15 degree C till the next one week, the IMD, Hyderabad forecast said.


Based on the temperature data from Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), between Thursday and early hours of Friday, Adilabad and Komaram Bheem experienced chilly weather conditions with temperatures hovering between 8.3 degree C and 9.8 degree C. The overall average night time temperature in Hyderabad was 14.8 degree Celsius.
