Brake issue halts Hyderabad–Belagavi Special near Shankarpalli
A brief tension arose when the Hyderabad–Belagavi Special made an unscheduled stop near Shankarpalli Railway Station after brake binding was detected in one of its coaches. The Station Master noticed sparks and smoke around 7:26 pm and alerted the crew.
Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed after the Hyderabad–Belagavi Special train (Train No. 07043) made a brief unscheduled halt on Thursday evening after brake binding was noticed in one of its coaches near Shankarpalli Railway Station.
According to railway officials, the Station Master at Shankarpalli observed minor sparks and light smoke after the train passed the station around 7.26 pm and immediately alerted the train crew.
The Assistant Loco Pilot and Train Manager attended to the issue, following which the train resumed its journey.
Railway authorities said the situation was promptly controlled, with no injuries reported and no major disruption in train services.
