Hyderabad: Dr BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) Vice-Chancellor Prof K Seetharama Rao announced various additional courses like advance diploma, graduate, postgraduate and postgraduate diploma in Management for army personnel and their families through the university.

The course certificates to army personnel of all ranks would improve and upgrade their qualifications besides make them eligible for a ‘second career option’,
Prof Rao said while speaking at an ISO Award Ceremony at AOC Centre organised by BRAOU and the Army Ordnance Corps Centre, (AOC) Secunderabad.

TS BIE deputy director M Laxma Reddy handed over the State government order for establishing Lieutenant Navdeep Singh Vocational Junior College in the AOC Centre under the aegis of the BIE. The college will enhance the professional competency of trainees in technical trades by offering two-year Intermediate vocational course certificates equivalent to 10+2/ITI. AOC Chief Commandant, Brigadier Ajeet Deshpande also spoke.
