Siddipet: Siddipet Police have filed a case against a bride and groom and eight other family members for organising their marriage reception in violation of lockdown guidelines at Chandapur village in Thoguta Mandal on Thursday.
According to Siddipet Police, the family members of Nune Mahesh (26), an auto driver by profession, arranged his marriage with one Mounika. After their marriage, the family members of the bride and groom organised a grand reception at Chandapur in violation of lockdown guidelines. Following information, Sub-inspector of Police Thoguta Srinivas Reddy reached the village.
Srinvas Reddy said there was no permission to organise reception, birthday or other functions except the marriage. Reddy said that they filed a case under the Disaster Management Act.
