Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament: Advik, Chidvilas grab top honours
Advik Ranga and Chidvilas Sai excelled to lift the junior and open category titles, respectively, at the 223rd Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament held at Brilliant Grammar High School, Dilsukhnagar, on Sunday.
Hyderabad: Advik Ranga and Chidvilas Sai excelled to lift the junior and open category titles, respectively, at the 223rd Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament held at Brilliant Grammar High School, Dilsukhnagar, on Sunday.
In the junior category, Advik scored a perfect 6 points from as many rounds to emerge as the winner, while Sai Nigam and Challa Shaahanth secured second and third places, respectively, with 5 points each. In the open category, Chidvilas clinched the title with 6 points, followed by Gade Vishal and Divith Reddy Adulla, who took second and third places, respectively, with 5 points each.
