Hyderabad: With Ukraine turning into a war zone, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday appealed to the union government to arrange for special aircrafts to bring students from Telangana back home safely. He offered that the Telangana government was ready to bear the full travel expenses for these students.

In a tweet, Rama Rao urged union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to take notice of the plight of students from Telangana who are stranded in Ukraine. “We appeal to Govt of India to arrange for special aircrafts & Telangana Govt is ready to bear the full travel expenses for these students so we can bring them home safe & soonest (sic),” he tweeted.

Accordingly, people in need are requested to contact IPS officer Vikram Singh Mann on phone number 7042566955 in New Delhi. They can also contact PRO Chakravarthy at 9949351270 and OSD Nitin at 9654663661. They can also email to rctelangana@gmail.com.
