“Bro Daddy” Trailer of Mohanlal & Prithviraj Sukumaran promises fun ride

Hyderabad: The fun-filled trailer of Mohanlal, Pithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Malayalam film “Bro Daddy” is out. And, from the glimpse of it, the film promises to be a comedy entertainer with enough family drama.
The hilarious trailer revolves around the Kattadi family and the Kurian family. Mohanlal portrays a character called John Kattadi and Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing Mohanlal character’s son named Eesho John Kattadi. It will be interesting to witness their camaraderie as father-son. John Kattadi and Annamma) are a couple.
Prithviraj’s character has feelings for Kurian Maliekkal (Lalu Alex) and Elsy Kurian (Kaniha)’s daughter Anna, played by actress Kalyani Priyadarshan. But, here starts the twist.
In the teaser released before this trailer, it was revealed that Kurian Maliekkal had feelings for Annamma. They both studied in the same college and everyone in the college knew about Kurian’s feelings except Annamma. Dogs were set out on Kurian when he went to Annamma’s house to ask for her hand for marriage. From this time, Kurian has carried a grudge against Annamma’s family.
Will the love affair of Eesho and Anna go further? How is this situation handled? One has to watch the movie to find out. The film seems to have many fun incidents that are sure to evoke some laughter among the audience. It has been a long time since we last caught up Mohanlal in a comic role. The actor as John Kattadi is simply awesome and stealing our hearts with his energy. This super-fun family entertainer is looking highly impressive.
All set to stream on DisneyHotstar from January 26, the film is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, his second as director-actor. For his earlier directed film “Lucifer” in which he was also an actor, was also in collaboration with Mohanlal who played lead role in it. “Bro Daddy” written by Sreejith N and Bibin Maliekal, produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas banner, also stars Unni Mukundan, Jagadish and Soubin Shahir in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Deepak Dev.
