Hyderabad: BRS leader Gattu Ramchander Rao launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday, accusing him of turning Telangana into a “criminal state” and pushing people into despair.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, Ramchander Rao alleged that Revanth Reddy holds the dubious distinction of being the Chief Minister with the highest number of criminal cases in the country, with 89 cases in total. He said the Congress government was running an Emergency-like regime, with citizens facing oppression and basic needs going unmet.
“Farmers are waiting days for a single bag of urea, yet the Chief Minister refuses to acknowledge and address it,” he charged. He further claimed that the Chief Minister lacked understanding of both agriculture and education despite holding both key portfolios.
The BRS leader accused Revanth Reddy of ignoring the Congress high command and managing Delhi with helicopters and money, while acting in tandem with the BJP. “Congress tolerating Revanth Reddy as Chief Minister is nothing short of political suicide,” he declared.
