BRS cadres perform Ksheerabhisekam to Telangana Thalli statues in Adilabad

Former minister Jogu Ramanna performed the ritual at a programme held on the premises of office of the BRS party in Adilabad town.

Adilabad: Cadres of the BRS performed ksheerabhisekam to statue of Telangana Thalli in protest of alteration of the statue in several parts of the erstwhile Adilabad district on Tuesday.

Former minister Jogu Ramanna performed the ritual at a programme held on the premises of office of the BRS party in Adilabad town. He criticized the government for redesigning the statue. He told the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to focus on improving administration instead of altering the design of the statue.

Activists of the BRS took part in the same event held in Mancherial and Chennur towns as per instructions of the BRS working president KT Rama Rao. They raised slogans against the redesigned statue and demanded the government to continue the old design of the statue. They stated that the government was obsessed with altering statues and schemes introduced by the then government.

Similar programmes were held in Kumram Bheem Asifabad and Nirmal districts.
