Siddipet: As Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy arrived at Narmetta to inaugurate Oil Palm factory on Sunday afternoon, the BRS cadres performed palabhishekam to the portraits of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Harish Rao, crediting them for the work.

The youngsters have also gathered at an oil palm crop and performed palabhishekam to the portraits of Chandrashekhar Rao and Harish Rao. The BRS leaders said that they could cultivate oil palm as Chandrashekhar Rao completed Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP).

They further said that there was no water in Siddipet to cultivate oil palm kind of crops before Rao brought Godavari water to Siddipet, apart from building multiple reservoirs. Similar kinds of felicitation programmes are organised across the Siddipet constituency, even at Narmetta grama panchayath office.
