BRS chief KCR wishes people on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day

Hyderabad: BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao extended greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day on Monday. He recalled the peaceful and democratic struggle of the people that led to the creation of the State.
In a statement, Chandrashekhar Rao said Telangana, which was neglected under the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, had witnessed inclusive development and remarkable welfare after the State formation.
“For a decade, Telangana stood as a model for the nation in development and welfare,” he said.
He suggested that the current Congress government prioritise people-centric policies, fulfil electoral promises and boost public confidence. He expressed hope that Telangana would continue to prosper in agriculture and dairy, and ensure well-being across all sections of society.
