Hyderabad: BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank on Monday alleged large-scale irregularities in the allotment of land in the proposed Fourth City to a company linked to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s brother Anumula Kondal Reddy. He demanded that the land allotment be cancelled and that Revanth Reddy step down to facilitate an impartial probe.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, Krishank said Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited, which had Kondal Reddy as chairman, was allotted five acres at Raviryala in the Fourth City area for about Rs 7 crore, though the land was worth over Rs 100 crore. He alleged that the company had a share capital of only Rs 1 lakh and was operating from a small premises in Patancheru, with no employees. He said the company was engaged in aerospace and defence manufacturing without the required DPIIT licence.

The BRS leader alleged that the company reported foreign exchange earnings of around Rs 1 crore despite having no manufacturing operations. He questioned how a company with such credentials could secure valuable land at the stated rate.

He accused the Chief Minister of misusing his position to benefit family members and alleged that the land was allotted at around Rs 3,707 per square metre. According to him, 20,234 square metres in Raviryala of Maheshwaram mandal, was allotted to the company.

Krishank also questioned the silence of BJP leaders and the Centre over the alleged irregularities and sought a full-scale investigation. He also cautioned the US Consulate authorities about the US Consul General sharing the dais with Kondal Reddy at a recent event, sending wrong signals among the investors and people of the State.
