Mancherial: BRS leader Dr Raja Ramesh demanded that Chennur MLA Dr Vivek take steps to resume the work of a 100-bedded hospital Chennur town which was stalled for quite a long time. He along with cadres of the party inspected the work in Chennur on Friday.

Raja Ramesh said that the then Chennur MLA Balka Suman, who envisaged to provide better quality healthcare facilities to the people of the segment was the driving force behind sanction of the hospital by former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Suman had taken up several developmental projects during his tenure and transformed Chennur in many fronts.

“However, the development works were stalled ever since the Congress formed the government 18 months ago. Stalling of the hospital construction is an example of the government’s apathy. Vivek is only focused on elevating his son Vamshi Kirshna’s political career and securing a berth in the cabinet of ministers, but not on people of the segment,” the leader alleged.

He wanted Vivek to immediately resume the work if he was concerned for the people of Chennur Assembly constituency.

Former Chennur ZPTC member Mothe Thirutpathi, ex municipal vice-chairman Nawaz, BRS leaders Revalli Rupesh, Jagannathula Srinu, Rathna Sammi Reddy, Ramlal Gilda, Suresh Reddy, Nennal Bhemaiah and others were present.
