Kumram Bheem Asifabad: BRS leader Dr RS Praveen Kumar slammed both Panchayat Raj minister D Seethakka and her colleague Jupally Krishna Rao for neglecting Sirpur (T) Assembly constituency. He toured Lineguda and surrounding villages in Kagaznagar mandal on Saturday.
Praveen Kumar said that Seethakka and Krishna Rao were confined to their respective Assembly segments and were ignoring the development of other constituencies, particularly the backward Sirpur (T) segment.
He asked the ministers whether they were considering those living in the remote parts of the segment as mere tribals. He stated that the village was grappling with a slew of problems.
The BRS state general secretary regretted that locals of the village were forced to trek for 3 kilometers to bring rations and visit an Anganwadi centre.
He faulted the officials of ITDA-Utnoor for showing negligence in creating road and bridge infrastructure in the villages inhabited by tribals. He criticized the local MLA Dr Harish Babu for failing to address major challenges facing the village.
Praveen Kumar urged Mission Bhagiratha officials to resolve the severe drinking water crisis being faced by residents. He said that challenges of the villages would be addressed only if BRS comes to power.
He requested the public to teach a lesson to the Congress by casting their votes in favour of nominees belonging to the BRS.
