Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) held a heartfelt farewell ceremony at Telangana Bhavan on Monday to honour party general secretary and party headquarters in-charge Madireddy Srinivas Reddy, who retired after 24 years of dedicated service to the party. Leaders praised his contributions to the party since its inception at Jala Drishyam to his significant role at Telangana Bhavan. They stated that his warm and welcoming smile, and his efforts to ensure smooth functioning of the party headquarters, would be remembered always.

Former Minister and senior MLA T Harish Rao urged Srinivas Reddy to document his experiences in a book to inspire future generations. “Srinivas Reddy dedicated himself to the party activities and fulfilled his responsibilities with dedication. He came to the party head office even during the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said, stating that felicitating Srinivas Reddy was equal to felicitating every BRS activist.

Legislative Council Leader of Opposition S Madhusudhana Chari recalled Srinivas Reddy’s close relationship with the BRS chief and termed him as one of Chandrashekhar Rao’s most trusted associates. Former Deputy Speaker T Padmarao Goud, former Ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy and G Jagadish Reddy, assured Srinivas Reddy of their continued support, despite him shifting to the US.
