BRS leaders file complaint against YouTube channel on false allegations in phone tapping case

Hyderabad: BRS leaders lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police against IDream Media YouTube channel management, its anchor Soumya Reddy and advocate Arun Kumar for making false and defamatory statements against party president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in connection with the phone tapping case.
The complainants including BRS leaders Chada Kishan Reddy, Vasudeva Reddy, Bommera Ramamurthy, Gandhi Naik and others said Arun Kumar had made baseless and misleading allegations during an interview aired on June 25, while anchor Soumya Reddy and the channel management had uploaded the videos without verifying the claims.
They termed the interview as a deliberate attempt to malign the image of Chandrashekhar Rao and the BRS. They demanded immediate legal action in this regard.
