BRS leaders file complaints against Veerla Shankar in multiple police stations
BRS workers filed cases against Shadnagar MLA Veerlapally Shankar at multiple police stations in Siddipet district on Wednesday, accusing him of making objectionable remarks against former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Protests, including effigy burning, were held across the district.

Siddipet: The BRS Party workers filed cases against Congress MLA from Shadnagar Veerla Shankar in multiple police stations charging him of using objectionable language against the former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Siddipet Urban mandal leaders have filed a complaint in three-town police station demanding his immediate arrest. The Chinna Kodur mandal leaders registered a case in Chinna Kodur police station against the Shadnagar MLA. Objecting to the remarks made by the Congress MLA, the Siddipet Sarpanchs forum boycotted the Mandal Parishad general body meeting.
Later, the Sarpanchs forum also filed a complaint in Siddipet rural police station against Veerla Shankar. The BRS leaders also burnt the effigies of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Veerla Shankar at Chinna Kodur, protesting over the remarks made by Shankar against the former Chief Minister. Multiple such protests were organised across the district on Wednesday.
