Khammam BRS leaders lodged a complaint with police against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy
Khammam: The district BRS party president, MLC, Tata Madhusudhan demanded police to take legal action against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for his unethical comments on BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao.
The MLC along with the party leader K Koteswara Rao, city wing president Pagadala Nagaraju and others lodged a complaint with Khammam two-town police against the Chief Minister, here on Saturday. The leaders wanted police to register a case against Ravanth Reddy immediately.
Speaking to the media, the MLC strongly condemned the objectionable comments made against the first Chief Minister of Telangana, Chandrashekhar Rao.
He demanded Revanth Reddy take back his inappropriate comments and tender an apology to the BRS chief.
Unable to fulfill the promises made to the people, the Congress government was spending time making vulgar comments to divert the people’s attention. If Revanth Reddy does not retract his comments and apologise immediately, he would be taught a befitting lesson, he warned.
Madusudhan told the Congress government to prove its sincerity by fulfilling the election promises given to the people. He warned that if Revanth Reddy does not change his behaviour, he would have to face serious consequences in the future.
The relationship between BJP and Revanth Reddy could be understood if one looks at the greetings extended to Revanth Reddy on his birthday. The fact that none from the party high command greeted Revanth Reddy showed the respect he was given in the party, the BRS leader noted.
BRS leaders Bellam Venu, Unnam Brahmaiah, Samineni Hariprasad, S Veerabhadram, District Sarpanches Sangam president Madamshetty Hariprasad and others were present.
