BRS leaders protest fuel price hike at LB Nagar in Hyderabad

BRS MLA Devirreddy Sudheer Reddy and party leaders staged a protest at LB Nagar against the Central government’s fuel price hike. He alleged that the increase in petrol and diesel prices was affecting ordinary people and said protests would continue.

Hyderabad: BRS MLA Devirreddy Sudheer Reddy, along with local BRS leaders, staged a protest against the Central government’s decision to hike petrol and diesel prices, alleging that it would burden people across the country, at LB Nagar crossroads here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudheer Reddy criticised the government for increasing fuel prices, stating that it was severely affecting the lives of ordinary people. He said the government was playing with the lives of the people.


Further, he said protests and awareness campaigns opposing unfair price hikes would continue. Former corporators, former chairpersons, senior BRS leaders of the constituency, presidents of various divisions, women’s wing presidents, activists, youth leaders, women leaders, members of various affiliate committees and party workers, among others, participated in the protest.
