BRS MLA calls for meeting on special development funds
Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajashekhar Reddy on Tuesday stressed that district in-charge Ministers should hold meetings with local legislators on Special Development Funds (SDF) and make budget allocations based on the constituency needs, citing the construction of RUB, ROB, the Malkajgiri Degree College, water, drainage and other issues in his constituency.
Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajashekhar Reddy on Tuesday stressed that district in-charge Ministers should hold meetings with local legislators on Special Development Funds (SDF) and make budget allocations based on the constituency needs, citing the construction of RUB, ROB, the Malkajgiri Degree College, water, drainage and other issues in his constituency.
Speaking in the Assembly, he requested the Speaker G Prasad Kumar that government should inform the respective elected legislators on what basis it makes allocations for executing necessary development works.
He also sought to know on what basis the government provides SDF for Malkajgiri constituency. People were facing difficulties as there were no action plans to implement works and address main issues of the constituency, he added.
