Hyderabad: A team of BRS leaders, led by former Minister and MLA T Harish Rao called on Sritej, who is recovering from injuries sustained in the Sandhya theatre stampede, at KIMS Hospital on Thursday. The senior BRS MLA criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the Cabinet Minister for delayed response to the tragedy. “We are compelled to speak politics even during tragic incidents, due to the Chief Minister’s efforts to blame us for everything which goes wrong in the State,” he said. he raised concerns over the State Government’s inaction and ignorance over deaths of students in residential welfare schools across the State over the past one year. He stated that

Harish Rao questioned inaction in the suicide case of former Sarpanch Sai Reddy in Kondareddypalli, who left a suicide note, holding the brothers of the Chief Minister responsible for his death. “The Chief Minister claims that the law is equal for all. Why has not there been any action or even an interrogation?” he sought to know.
