BRS MLAs Sabitha, Sunitha file complaint over alleged police manhandling
BRS MLAs Sabitha Indra Reddy and Sunitha Laxma Reddy lodged a complaint alleging that police personnel manhandled them during a confrontation outside the Telangana Assembly on September 7. Saifabad police said the allegations were being verified and action would follow.

Hyderabad: Former Ministers and BRS MLAs P Sabitha Indra Reddy and V Sunitha Laxma Reddy on Thursday lodged a complaint at the Saifabad Police Station alleging that they were manhandled by police personnel during the confrontation outside the Telangana Assembly on September 7.
The two women legislators alleged that they were subjected to physical force while BRS leaders were being prevented from entering the assembly premises during the party’s protest. Sunitha Laxma Reddy alleged that police personnel pulled her by the pallu of her saree, while Sabitha Indra Reddy alleged that she was choked and her hair was pulled during the melee.
Meanwhile, the Saifabad police said the facts in the complaint are being verified, and necessary action will be taken based on the findings.
