Hyderabad: BRS MLC Deshapathi Srinivas challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the reports published by Vemuri Radhakrishna in Andhra Jyothi vernacular newspaper. He termed the Congress government’s response to the reports as soft and selective.

He questioned why the Chief Minister, who swiftly ordered an SIT into reports broadcast by NTV news channel, was hesitant to do the same with Andhra Jyothi and only asked Radhakrishna to seek his clarification before making allegations. “If the government truly has integrity, it must order an SIT and punish the guilty, instead of offering excuses,” he said, demanding a full and impartial investigation.
