Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Shambhipur Raju met with a road accident near Bhuvanagiri on Sunday while travelling to Warangal, police said.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the vehicle in which he was travelling was hit by another car near Bhuvanagiri. The impact of the collision caused injuries to the MLC.
Local residents and security personnel immediately rushed and shifted Shambhipur Raju to a nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Doctors have stated that his condition is stable.
The vehicle sustained minor damage in the collision. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, the incident has prompted concern among BRS leaders and party workers, who have inquired about the health condition of the MLC.
