Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan condemned Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s alleged undemocratic politics and what he termed as “loose-canon language” resembling that of a faction gang leader. He said the Chief Minister’s recent remarks at a public meeting amounted to a criminal conspiracy intended to provoke hatred and unrest.

In his open letter, Sravan said though Revanth Reddy holds power under the Congress banner, his heart appears to still be with the TDP. He accused the Chief Minister of secretly reviving TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s agenda as a Plan B in Telangana.

He stated that Revanth Reddy continued to defy the Congress high command while maintaining covert links with both the TDP and the BJP. He charged Revanth Reddy with deliberately weakening senior Congress leaders such as Bhatti Vikramarka, N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to consolidate personal control over the party.

Sravan stated that Revanth Reddy was selling hollow promises of a Future City and a Rs 5 trillion economy while failing to manage a declining State economy or deliver basic benefits to retired employees. “A leader who cannot create wealth is busy painting illusions,” he remarked, referring to Revanth Reddy. He warned that power is not permanent and urged Revanth Reddy to change course before arrogance leads to destruction.
