BRS moves adjournment motion on pending dues of retired employees

BRS has served an adjounrment motion for a discussion in the Assembly on the pending payments of the retired Government employees.

Hyderabad: The BRS on Tuesday moved an adjournment motion in the Assembly seeking discussion on the delay in payment of retirement benefits to state government employees.

BRSLP deputy leader T Harish Rao said several retired employees were facing hardship due to pending gratuity, General Provident Fund and other retirement benefits. He said the delay in release of benefits had caused serious financial difficulties to pensioners.


The BRS members demanded that the House take up the issue for discussion and sought clarity from the government on budget allocations to clear the pending dues.
