BRS MPs urge Railway Minister for new railway station at Chinna Kodur

Since the tourist spot Ranganayaka Sagar was located close to Chinna Kodur, the MPs said it would be helpful if a railway station was set up here.

Siddipet: BRS Rajya Sabha members KR Suresh Reddy, Vaddiraju Ravichandra and Divakonda Damodar Rao urged union Railway Minister Aswini Vaishnaw to build a railway station at Chinna Kodur in Siddipet district en route Kothapally-Manoharabad railway line.

The new railway line has been completed up to Siddipet town. Following the request of locals, Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao had take up the issue with the BRS MPs who in turn presented a representation to the union Minister in New Delhi on Monday. Since the tourist spot Ranganayaka Sagar was located close to Chinna Kodur, the MPs said it would be helpful if a railway station was set up here.
